Driving to Macky during Broadway construction

The City of Boulder is currently building transportation improvements on Broadway (Euclid to 18th). Traffic through this area is limited; if you are coming from Denver/South on Broadway or West via CO 93-Broadway, delays can affect your arrival to Macky on time for our events. If you are approaching from the north on Broadway or the East, there will be no delays related to the construction project.

Updated directions to Macky from Denver and South
Bo west on US 36 (from I-25 or I-270) into Boulder. Once in Boulder, take a left (west) at Arapahoe Avenue (the second stop light you’ll come to). Follow Arapahoe Ave. to 17th Street (about ½ mile); turn left (south) onto 17th Street. Macky Auditorium is the large stone building at the top of the hill. The entrance to campus is on the left as 17th begins to curve to the right. Once 17th curves, it becomes University Avenue.
