Important Message:

Macky Auditorium patrons who have used credit cards to purchase tickets may have received notice from Vendini, Inc. regarding a security breach detected on April 25, 2013. Personal information, including credit-card information, may have been exposed as a result. Vendini reports that patrons who purchased tickets after April 25 have not been affected.

Macky contracted with Vendini to provide ticketing and credit-card payment processing for certain events in the 2011-2013 seasons. Events presented by outside organizations at Macky, such as the Boulder Philharmonic and the Artist Series, were not affected by the breach.

Vendini has notified Macky that it is working closely with federal law-enforcement agencies in an investigation of this incident. In addition, Vendini has initiated an internal investigation to determine how the breach occurred.

Macky has no information about whether any patron’s credit-card information has been used fraudulently. If you suspect there has been unauthorized use of your card, report it immediately to the financial institution that issued the card. Under federal law, cardholders have limited liability for unauthorized use of a credit card if it is reported in a timely manner.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have asked Vendini to keep us informed and will continue to monitor the situation on behalf of our valued patrons. Click here to read Vendini’s statement on the incident. You may call Vendini at 800-836-0473 if you have further questions.
